PPD opened its Hungary office in 1998 to help our clients take advantage of the country’s clinical development opportunities. Our therapeutic and operational expertise assists clients in delivering their therapies rapidly and safely.

Hungary is an attractive country for drug development because it offers one of the largest pharmaceutical markets in Central and Eastern Europe, regulatory approval timelines of two to three months and a government that is supportive of research. Additionally, intellectual property protection comes close to parity with Western European countries, so clients’ investments are well-protected.
